NATALIE J. GRACE
Natalie J. Grace’s IP experience spans over a decade and touches upon diverse technologies and aspects of intellectual property protection. Ms. Grace has extensive experience in patent prosecution and post grant proceedings. She has collaborated in argument development and drafting coordination for a variety of high stakes post-grant matters. She has prepared and prosecuted applications for clients in variety of software and electronic spaces including consumer electronic devices, electronic payment services, network communications management, software development platforms, hardware design simulation platforms, electronic gaming platforms, social media platforms and tools, wireless technologies, financial management and market analysis tools, three-dimensional printing applications, semiconductor manufacturing, automation, genomic sequencing analysis, software systems for bioinformatics, and other software used in medical imaging, diagnosis and treatment. Further, Ms. Grace has extensive background in patent prosecution in the mechanical arts, including aerospace, transportation, and medical device technologies. Additionally, Ms. Grace has a strong background in patentability and infringement evaluation, landscape study, patentability analysis, and freedom to operate research.
Before entering the legal field, Ms. Grace spent eight years as a software design engineer in the telecommunications field, including network protocol development positions with Cisco Systems and Lucent Technologies. Ms. Grace also has work experience in the technology areas of database development and handheld network testing devices.
