Michael A. Plotnick is a registered Patent Agent with 14 years of patent preparation, prosecution, and litigation support experience and over 20 years of engineering experience in R&D, product development, and consulting. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior to joining the firm, Mike was a Patent Agent at Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, LLP. He has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in a wide variety of electronic and mechanical technology areas, including semiconductors, networking, digital video, communications, aerospace, robotics, heavy equipment, software, and business methods.

As an engineer, Mike has worked in R&D for Bell Laboratories, RCA Labs, and Hitachi America developing a broad array of technologies, including wired and wireless telecommunications equipment, digital television, video coding systems, image and signal processing hardware and software, and integrated circuits.

Mike has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.SEE from Drexel University.

Mike is a named inventor on 27 granted U.S. patents.
